Under The Needle
Hello everyone - it's been another odd weather day in central Illinois. Slick roads this morning, followed by dense fog this afternoon and a winter storm watch for ice coming this weekend.
So today I made two fleece lined car seat ponchos. A new study has shown, small children are not safe when buckled into their car seat with their winter coats on. I have two small grand daughters so I made them car seat ponchos and embroidered their initials on the front of each poncho. Elly loves the color pink!
Masyn's was made with white minky fabric and butterfly fleece on the inside.
They were easy to make after I did a you tube search and made some adjustments. I enjoy embroidering but sewing was a challenge to add the little ball trim. They turned out super cute!
The last item today is a beautiful scroll embroidery heart. The scroll work is beautiful. It has 20,000 stitches and took about 1 1/2 hrs to complete! That is a lot of babysitting the embroidery machine to be sure it all stitches out correctly.
Donn't forget about the "refer a friend" promotion going on until the end of February! Just place an order, refer a friend and when your friend places an order you both receive 10% off.
Have a great evening everyone!
