Under the Needle
It was a beautiful day in Central Illinois today. A great day to be outside and feel the sunshine! I got up extra early today knowing it was to be a great day to be outside. I had been thinking about doing a "Welcome to the World" bundle for a while - so last night I put together a gift set that includes four items. A 36 x 36 minky/flannel blanket, a onesie, a burp cloth and a bib.
I decided to personalize each item with a monogram. Wanting to try a one letter monogram with the baby's first name, I think the E should have been larger. I will remember that for the next one. I am trying new techniques and mixing different fonts together to create several different styles.
I also have been doing research for burp cloths. I have found several different saying that I will be using just to change things up a bit. I have tried to keep the same color scheme through out the bundle to make the gift very special. This was a special bundle for a friend who told me the nursery was in shades of purple. I'm sure Little Miss Emerson and her grandma Tina will love the bundle.
Up next will be a baby boy bundle with a fishing theme and then a baby boy bundle with a hunting theme.
I will be up late tonight designing these precious gifts that are one of a kind. I love this new hobby of mine!!!!!!
Have a great evening everyone and thanks for following along in this adventure!
